The Zara High street Edit

fashion

Here’s my list of items selling at the popular high street store Zara. My style has evolved and is constantly evolving with my maturity or lack of. I tend to gravitate towards pieces of quality and longevity but also pieces that are unique whilst still ticking the trend box in some cases. With that being said I tend to stay away from pieces that scream ‘I’m so fashion’ I find that it’s easy to get quite caught up in the innovation of creating a ‘look at me’ style that it comes across too Fashion (If there is such a thing)

I find I am quite the fashion minimalist who likes to spice things up with the odd quirky print or colour. I love high end luxury fashion but like most don’t have to the means to live that life so I do like the high street for trends I absolutely love.

(Why not try this CELINE clear bag vibes from Zara)

Vinyl bag £15.99

The items I’ve selected from Zara.com represent me and what I like so with that being said here they are.

Halter neck Dress with belt £29.99

I love the silhouette of this dress and the deep green is divine.

Camisole Dress £26.99

These dresses are classy and romantic and what’s even better is you can probably pick one up for next to nothing at your local charity store.

Combined Poplin Dress £29.99

Cute and simple minimal style Dress with a quirky tie up detail in the sleeves.

Halter Dress with Fringing £95.99

Contrasting shirt dress £29.99

I’m really into the mixed sized Gingham as it reminds me of a look from an Autumn Winter show I saw ( which I can not remember right now)

As it’s Autumn Winter and the weather has gone from Barbados sun back to the British weather we are all so humbled with, Ive gone for jumpers next. I love a chunky cable knit cream classic jumper as you can pair it with anything. Winter to me is all about being comfortable yet warm and still stylish.

Cable knit sweater with Pom-poms £39.99

I love, love these classic cable knit jumpers and an easy find in a charity store.

Round neck sweater £39.99

like the jumper before, this is a classic colour and super comfy and warm.

Limited Edition cashmere jumper £tbc

If you want to be bang on trend you can try one of the new colours of the season. You can pair with seasons favourite pattern animal print or opt for a darker colour to tone down the look.

Ribbed Turtle Neck sweater £19.99

Another win the colour pink. I love a good turtle neck, combined with fashions favourite colour of the past seasons. I’d wear under a black blazer to bring the pop of pink out.

Last but not least I’ve included a few pairs of trousers that I love. I’ve decided to do bags and shoes in a separate post so this post isn’t too long.

Leggings with strips £19.99

I think I may actually purchase these. There simple yet fun with the pink stripe. If you haven’t noticed pink is in fact my favourite colour so these are a win from me.

Culottes with top stitching £49.99

These are a great style trousers and look great with a pair of loose fitted boots. I love the top stitching contrasting.

Gingham trousers £29.99

I really love this whole suit. I think I may have a thing for Gingham.

5 (insanely priced) items on my wish list

fashion

Here are 5 things that are ridiculously expensive but I love anyway.

Hitting first on the list is of course one of the must have coats of the season. We’ve seen it of Imitated by many high street retailers, unsuccessfully may I add. Is this absolutely gorgeous Max Mara Auriela Teddy coat at a meesly £1,740. Agh, pocket change. (Checks Private messages for sugar daddies offering me to this bad boy then comes back down to reality)

I mean let’s face it, who can afford this? I know I am wearing this in anther dimension. The specifications on this coat are only what you would expect on a coat so beautifully crafted. It’s a camel fur on silk base with lapels, low set-in sleeves and welt pockets. It’s fully lined and is double breasted. No wonder the high street can’t compete….

Second on my list are the Natasha Zinko mink fur slides with kitten heels in any colour ( I’m not fussy) These shoes literally get my heart beating faster then 3 sets of 20 squats ( coz you know booty is life) they are solely leather with the exception of the ravishing mink showing off quite boldly at the front and are made in Italy( buy me shoes from Italy so I know it’s real) I had the pleasure of being face to face helping stylist and editor of Thiiird magazines Rhona Ezuma, as evidenced below) my only regret is not trying them on ….I know, I know. These babies will set you back £1,130.

By now I’m guessing your realising why this is a wish list and not a haul post. Yup, your girls got taste that comes with a ridiculously high price tag. Go figure. Well at least this number brings the price tag down into double digits (yikes). The third item on my list are the Adam Selman X les specs shades. Again, any pair will do but I’m feeling the fugitive cat eyed gold tone mirror glasses (sold out everywhere for $125) or the last Lolita cat eyes acetate glasses (£75)

4. We’ve all seen the double or is it triple trainer trend courtesy of IT brand Balenciaga. I know, I know if they were made by anyone else we’d probably have already collated the best memes the internet has to offer and be tagging our mates in them all but they are so there! These are the triple S model composed of three different sports trainers piled on top of each other. I’m really liking the white and white but at £700 it’s neither here or there ( opens DM to find no one is offering to buy me nice things)

So I thought I’d switch It up for the last number. As my wish list for highly desirable luxury items will never be in short supply, I’ve opted for some fine jewellery to close with. I laugh before I write this as the price tag on this number has reached astronomical proportions. A price tags of £3,600.00 from world renowned luxury outlet selfridges.com is there Love 18ct Yellow Gold ( or rose gold for an extra 2k) bracelet with 4 diamonds and a solid gold screwdriver for adjusting. Selfridges description reads as follows ‘ How far would you go for love? Cartier’s LOVE collection serves to seal all conventions of love. Styled to an idyllic oval shape with stark screws throughout, its undeniable elegance is a timeless tribute to the passion of romance’
