NYFW Spring Summer 2019 : Day 1

fashion

It’s that time again New York Fashion week spring summer 2019. I’ve collected my favourite looks from my favourite shows for your viewing pleasure so take a look.

Tom Ford S/S19

I love love loved this show. There were 3 different moods running through the show ‘bougie street style’ is how I’d describe the first that I’ve put in a collage. I love the all black snakeskin and black slip like material with a pop of nude colour on the shoes.

Sheer materials are one of my favourite and combined with Constructed Waist belts which defines your shape. These waist belts are going to be big in the coming seasons.

Animal print has been big since Autumn Winter 2018 and continues to be seen on the runway paired with fringing for a fun and edgy evening look.

The Zara Edit : Mini Bags

fashion

Last but not least the bags quarter, well technically the third as it’s in 3 parts. The bum bag trend may still be popular but there’s a new bag taking over our devices. The mini bag.

Braided Leather Bag 79.99

I really love this braided bag. String bags have been a bit of a mini trend think of this as it’s sturdy Big sister.

Quilted Mini Bag 25.99

This cute little number hits 3 trends in 1 and can possibly take you into s/s19 al white trend next year.

Round cross body bag with top handle 29.99

This bag is like a spin on the popular Louis Vuitton bag minus the print. The pastel colour makes it a great summer accessory.

quilted Mini Bag £25.99

Super cute bag in a choice of 2 colours. One classic black the other pastel teal both great in different ways. The black is great for that modern sophisticated look whereas the other works well with colour blocked looks.

Faux patent leather belt bag 29.99

I love patent on other people but on me I feel like it’s too much. Can this bag be the answer to my dreams. I hint of gloss in the form of trendy bum bag trend.

Adidas Falcons : The ultimate Dad shoe

fashion

Everyone and the aunt seems to be falling head over heels for Dad shoes. From Balenciagas now classic triple S shoes to the even ‘uglier’ Gucci trainers seen in Milan Fall 2018 shoes.

At this point designers seem to be falling over each other to create a shoe that looks like it belongs in the lands of fortnite.

What would we do without the good old street style brands bringing sense and sanity to the recent craze.

The Adidas Falcons are just about bulky enough to pass the dad shoe test but still cute for those afraid of having cement blocks on there feet ( just kidding) the colour way is edgy and pretty retailing at around £89.99

Puma has also gotten in on the fun realising the Puma Thunder spectra in range of pastel colours. There chunky and the colours are great for creating a colour block power look.

The Zara High Street Edit : Shoes

fashion

Hi guys if you haven’t checked out my last post on my top picks at Zara.com you can do that now. This is the final part of my Zara high street edit and it consists of shoes and bags. I’ve posted this section separately just so there wasn’t so much to take in from the first post. Now let’s face it most of us stay comfortably flat in trainers especially when trainer trends are so popular right now. Autumn/ winter is a good time to invest in a pair of heeled boots before the weather goes from bad to worse.

Leather Stiletto heel Ankle boots 89.99

These boots are sleek and classy and make a statement in white.

Fabric high heel ankle boots 69.99

I stayed in love with the sock boot that trickled down from Balenciaga and these pair are great with a sturdier heel as opposed to the stiletto heel. These would look great with a faded pair of black jeans.

Stretch Fabric sneakers 39.99

These are obviously reminiscent of the balenciaga …. just a fraction of the price. Comfy and stylish on a budget.

Cowboy style mules 69.99

I’ve added these to the list as there super cute and fun to look at and dress up. They make a great addition to any wardrobe.

Autumn Winter 18’ : Colours of the Rainbow

fashion

It feels like one minute the Fashion world was monotone, the next, explosions of yummmy pastel colours leaving us obsessed. This is one trend we all seem to love and it doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon. Whether you love it or hate it it seems or now it’s here to stay.

Delpozo Autumn/ winter 2018 ready to wear.

Delpozo went for a stronger pink bringing a pop to quirky tailoring that I really like.

If you aren’t tired of the influx of colour in fashion the past and coming seasons, feast your eyes on these magnificent hues of the fashion worlds favourite colour, blue.

Delpozo Autumn / Winter 2018 ready to wear ( left and Middle) right

Pastel Blue is just one of the shades of blue gracing the Autumn Winter shows. Bringing a breathe of fresh air synchronised with the drop in weather, coincidence? I’ll leave that for you to decide.

I love this shade of blue, it’s refreshing, calming yet still gives a strong and feminine approach.

Yellow.

I feel like it takes a very strong woman to pull off the yellow look. Bright colours are no longer restricted to the summer months! At least we don’t have to be running from the summer bugs.

I’d love to know if you will be channelling winter Brights this coming season?
